I’m pleased to finally release ModelCreator Version 2.2
A lot of time has been invested in this complete rewrite. ModelCreator is now a Windows Presentation Forms (WPF) application using newer UI technologies. There is now support for a new plate solver, and a new camera application. A brief summary of the new possibilities in this version:
-Support for new PlateSolver: ASTAP
-Support for new Camera Application: Starkeeper Voyager
-Point Colors can now be customized
-Log offers more possibilities to customization
-When the application crashes, a dialog will be shown asking for sending a bug report
Removed stuff:
-Astroart Camera is no longer supported
-Polar Chart does not provide as much functionality as in previous versions (did anyone actually ever use this?)
The rest should, hopefully, work the same as the previous version.
This new version will make it easier to add new functionality, and it could even be ported to another platform with minimal efforts, though I do not have plans for that.
This version will install as a new application, so the older version will remain untouched.
